Charithra Swaminathan

Charithra Swaminathan, a 15-year-old Form 4 student at YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College, discovered her passion for Bharatanatyam at the age of 2, captivated by its rhythm and grace. Through years of dedication and resilience, she has grown into a talented dancer, eager to share her love for this art form during her Arangetram, blending storytelling, Hindu mythology, and devotion to connect with her audience.

Beyond Bharatanatyam, Charithra has explored diverse dance styles including folk, ballet, and oriental, showcasing her versatility. She also enjoys swimming, previously played on her school volleyball team, and has a strong interest in storytelling—whether through film, TV, writing, or most profoundly, through dance.

Sai Dikhshaa Madhu

Sai Dhikshaa Madhu is a Year 10 student at Sha Tin College with a passion for the arts, sports, and community service. Her journey in Bharatanatyam began at the age of five, and she has continued to hone her skills in this classical dance form ever since. At school, Sai’s love for theatre and drama has complemented her artistic expression, shaping her into the accomplished dancer she is today.

Beyond the stage, Sai is an avid netball player. What started as a hobby soon became a pursuit of excellence, leading her to represent Sha Tin College in competitions and earn accolades for her performance.

Sai’s aspirations extend to healthcare and youth empowerment. She founded the Sha Tin College Red Cross Youth Unit, making STC only the second international school to host such an initiative. Through this, she aims to make First Aid training more accessible to students, fostering a culture of care and preparedness within her school community.

Disha Santhosh Kumar

Disha Santhosh Kumar is a 15-year-old Year 11 student at Sha Tin College. One of her greatest passions is badminton—she loves spending weekends on the court, improving her skills and enjoying the excitement of the game. Disha also has a deep love for dance; learning new styles and performing gives her a sense of joy and confidence that she truly cherishes.

When she’s not playing sports or dancing, Disha is usually immersed in a good book or expressing her creativity through drawing. These hobbies, along with her studies, keep her balanced, inspired, and motivated every day.
